The New Science Of Memory
People used to think of memory as a sort of filing system, but scientists now know it doesn’t work that way. Rather, memories are made, stored, and recalled through connections between brain cells. Our brain cells are constantly making and changing their connections with each other. HELP4MEMORY is a 4-track digital download designed to make and strengthen connections between brain cells, making the brain more resilient and ultimately improving and preserving memory.
The Audio Courses
The program consists of 4 different audio courses. Listen to one every day, preferably at bedtime, and rotate through the 4 exercises. Consistency over time is key. Each exercise begins with a simple relaxation, because the brain is more receptive when relaxed. The next portion of the exercise is different for each recording (Color, Language, Sound, Touch) but all exercises have participants recall their experiences and connects those experiences to a different area of brain function. The idea is to access the brain without pills or chemicals, but through the experience of the audio exercises, and to use the exercises to make and strengthen the connections between neurons in the brain, ultimately to preserve and improve memory. After the speaking part of each exercise, relaxing background music continues, so participants can continue relaxing and the brain can keep working on its own.

The Doctor's Take
If you have concerns about your memory, or if a loved one is having memory trouble, it can be hard to know where to turn for help.
Unfortunately, the usual treatments can be disappointing. They're expensive, have unpleasant and dangerous side-effects, and for all that they frankly don't work very well.
I created HELP4MEMORY to do just that: help people with memory concerns to preserve and improve their memory, without pills or side-effects.

The 4 Courses
The program consists of 4 different audio courses (Color, Language, Sound, Touch).

COLOR
First, a deep relaxation exercise. Then, participants recall an experience while imagining their favorite color, seeing it as a light that fills their bodies and the space around them.

LANGUAGE
First, a deep relaxation exercise. Then, participants recall an experience while thinking of a word, imagining writing the word, envisioning the word on the page, and more.

SOUND
First, a deep relaxation exercise. Then, participants recall an experience while hearing the sound of a bell.

TOUCH
First, a deep relaxation exercise. Then, participants recall an experience while imagining an ice cube melting in their hand.
